NEW SHOWS- REMIND PEOPLE WHAT'S UP, SOURCES, STATION ID, ETC. -Jay and Pila have a new show on sovernty Wed. & Fri. from 9-12am, it consists of a talk/call in format.

-Dan's nooner is on mental health and He seems to be enjoying his show, wants to learn more about technology. Wanting to interview more people. Will try to make it to Mon. night meetings.

-The Infinite Web, Greer and Yohaan's show 7-9pm tues. is sub-divided into a few catagories: Words of the week, yoga no beansprouts, solar sign waves, and the tausled venus as well as revolutionary music. They are enjoying it quite a bit. Greer would like some training time in the studio. Also an off/on mic would be great in a perfect world. Peace.

-Alexis and Aaron want to have a show for new moms, mid-wifery, formulas, meds, etc.

-Brandon-wants to have a show with a 1968 theme, as part of a class project. We'll hear more on that later.

-Austin did a great job with the info he provided Olympia about Cuba, thanks Austin.

-Chucks invited Jim to participate in KOWA. Jim's interests are in music history, interviews, 60's music, metal and punk. Jim also thought Lonnie would make a great contribution to KOWA.

TECHNOLOGY

Q? is the co-op willing to have the antenna on it's roof? Who wants to ask? Dan said he might be willing to ask.

Andrew has a program called Rivendell, a free software program that KOWA might be interested in learning about.

Ozone is also a hacked version of Win Amp with a Gain Control leveler? How can we find out about this?

We need a tech committee that is connected to one another also, a general mailing list/phone list would be great.

Also, if the tech committee and every one involved in KOWA would read the minutes, it would be helpful for our communication/productivity.

The hummm on the phone patch seems to be gone / working well. thanks a lot yohaan for your work.

Chucks mentioned that we needed a new phone (speaker phone) Any bites? If someone could check in with tctv, or free geek that may be a way to acquire one if still needed? Does any one want to volunteer?

The web stream needs to go up, KOWA needs help with that one....Any one technologically capable/able? Yohaan mentioned that he was going to speak to his dad about that matter, Mr. Hall has electronic experience and a great mind.

Chucks is going to try to get a map of the surrounding area to think about where to put the antenea.

It was discussed a laid back get together/fund raiser since the LU'AU was not ready to get off the ground. A Halloween/dance party at fertile ground, K-records, Yohaan's house, or the eagles hall for Oct. 31, 2006. We're looking for a good DJ. Pay?????? I'm not sure, we should talk about this at next meeting. Greer suggested a local/awsome dj friend and will contact him when we know if were gonna throw down some $ his way.

Chucks and Alexis gave birth to a beautiful baby boy-His name is ZK-short for I can't remember and certainly can't spell it but zk is what he'll be called. He came into this world weighing 6 1/2 lbs. and 22"long. Much congratulations friends.
