There were six individuals present for the meeting, which lasted from 6pm to 8pm.

Tec Support: There are several individuals that have the needed technical know-how to effectively teach the DJs and others to use a new system called Sam The Broadcaster. Currently Win-Amp is being used, but it lacks the software components needed to normalize the output sound. Sam The Broadcaster also has the capability of grabbing selected downloads at selected times so some poor schlep doesn't have to get up a 5am to do it manually.

There is still an ongoing effort to acquire a solar panel set up. Several individuals are checking into various mays or means to get one such as Climate solutions and Colorado Solar Outfitters and the electronics needed to hook it up to a transmitter. Dan and Chuks will speak directly with Rys Roth at the Energy Outreach Center for more information.

Of the program updates to speak of, there will not be a Hobo Radio program until the spring; the 1968 show is finished for now but some of the folks involved may create and new show at a later time. Greer and Yohan will be offering their show on Saturdays (5pm - 7pm). There was a discussion regarding shows compatibility with other show. Tre's show is primarily hip-hop followed by Jay's show which is contemporary talk and the two go together like pepper and shaving cream. So one of the shows will be moving to a time where leading or trailing programs will sinc up better.

This was follow by a separate discussion regarding a supposed safe harbor for indecent speech, the use of cursing within songs and so forth. Rumor has it that between 10pm and 5am one can say "fuck and Shit" and other related expletives. Everyone at the meeting vowed to research this because one complaint related fine would kill the station.

The carport is still in transition. There is a work party plan for Tuesday 19th around 5pm

Greer got a key . . . Yay She is also hosting a free viewing of "An Inconvienient Truth" at the Olympia Public Library December 21st from 5pm - 7pm

Jay made 500 fliers and is in the process of distributing them. He has a completed delivery goal of New Years. The flier consists of a cover with several pages of text attached.

There is a Plan to host a SECOND SUNDAY SOCIAL at Media Island as a regular event consisting of a potluck and informal meeting for anyone involved with local radio (including FRO, KAOS or other interested folks

The next meeting would normally happen Monday December 25th from 6pm - 8pm, but considering both Christmas and New Years fall on a Monday, there may be no meetings.
